Jennifer Barrett: I am a former chicken farmer and cattle rancher turned vegan. It's a long story, but a really good one. My beautiful farmer-turned-vegan husband and I have joined forces with the Rancher Advocacy Program to transform our farm into a sanctuary for our cows and are in process of converting our chicken houses into mushroom growing facilities. This blog is a place for me to share what's happening with the transition and an outlet for what's happening in my heart as we traverse pioneering endeavor.
